If you are interested in learning how to scuba dive, you may like to consider Adventure Education, or SSI NZ.  Both have training facilities through-out New Zealand.

Want to turn your Scuba Diving skills into a career?  Adventure Education is for you

Adventure Education has 10 trainers through-out NZ and offers tertiary level scuba diving training which enables you to turn your scuba diving qualification into a career.

Students will train with SSI certified Dive Instructors and finish with the Adventure Education "Master Diver" qualification. Students can then seek employment in the Scuba Diving industry or Adventure Tourism industry, or you may choose to continue your training at a higher level as a "Professional Dive Instructor" which offers additional career opportunities in New Zealand and overseas.

Just want to test the water first and go for recreational dive trips?  SSI NZ is for you

SSI NZ (Scuba Schools International - New Zealand branch) has dozens of branches through-out New Zealand. 

Here is a list of SSI qualified trainers through-out New Zealand.

SSI provides training right through from snorkling, to the scuba diving beginners course: "Open Water" right through to advanced specialty diving courses if you want to add points of difference to your CV and turn your hobby into a career.

SSI Dive shops also have all the gear you need including tank fills.

New scuba divers have two choices:  SSI or PADI.  We recommend SSI.  You'll work harder, have to do more dives, drills and lessons, but you'll come out of the water a better, safer, more competent diver.
